NECC traversed to the scenic Otterburn Park, 40 kms east of Montreal,
to take on the Pirates of the St Lawrence in a 40-over friendly last
Saturday (July 3rd). With a chocolate factory across the street,
Mont-St-Hilaire in the backdrop, and a billiard table-esque cricket
field, this was a truly unique cricketing sojourn for the Burghsians.
Angus Bell, captain and founder of the Pirates, has captured the
ensuing action in his rib-tickling match report. Check it out here: http://piratesofthestlawrence.com/?p=1284
The Burghs will look to return the favor when they host the Pirates at Rideau Hall on Aug 8th
